Nine things you
cannot see,
one page each

From one row of switches to a whole chip, and on to how a keystroke reaches a wire. No hardware background needed on any of the nine — about four minutes a page.

A sheet per thing. The one pulled out draws the chip on that board.

What is this set?

数据手册datasheet the manual a chip maker ships with the part — these nine pages have to match it 芯片厂随芯片一起给的说明书,这九页画的东西都要在它上面对得上

All nine hide inside the chip; the lid shows nothing. Each page opens with an analogy, then draws by the datasheet's rules.

It's like…就像……

A hospital film. What you cannot see from outside is right there on the sheet, close enough to point at.

封起来的样子 as it comes, sealed 画开的样子 the same part, drawn open 外面只有印字 printing, and nothing else 一排开关、一条街、一段拍子 a switch row, a street, a beat
The lid carries printing and nothing else — every part on the right is drawn, not photographed. That is what these nine pages are.

The first four stay inside the chip; the next three cross to a second one — two chips, two peers, two address books; then one walks from a keystroke to a wire, and the last is about finding things fast. No fixed order, start where you like.

The drawing language itself lives in the demo and the picture gallery.
